Just some thoughts on the manufactured riots we are seeing across major cities. I had an opportunity to see the results of "race riots" in New Jersey (don't live there now). Sure, there is middle class flight after riots. However, there is a lot of "distressed" real estate thar gets left behind. In North Plainfield I saw the relocation of people from Latin America (some here illegaly, some not), decent hard-working from places that were extremely violent, often Christian. However, there was a huge influx of well off homosexuals buying up the old "mansions" (decent old homes that could acomodate the larger families we used to have). Basically, Christian middle class utterly removed and selected minorities brought in. Wikipedia does not tell the whole story when they paint the city as only poor. Obvious gentr ification if you look at realnestate ads. The city itself says it has gotten half a billion dollars in redevelopment grants. City was under 50,000 people in 2010 by census.
