Minneapolis, MN - Mayor Jacob Frey (D), Gov. Tim Walz (D) called in the National Guard on Thursday, 5/28/20 as looting broke out in St. Paul. The building of the Minneapolis Police’s 3rd Precinct was overtaken by rioters and burned down; they then converged near the 5th Precinct building. The Pentagon has been ordered to prepare troops to intercede in Minnesota.

Detroit, MI - Mayor Mike Duggan (D), Gov Gretchen Whitmer (D) Police Chief James Craig said one person was killed and more than 40 people were arrested. He said at least three-fourths of the demonstrators were from outside of the city.

Portland, OR - Mayor Ted Wheeler (D), Gov Kate Brown (D) Rioters smashed store windows and broke into the Multnomah County Justice Center, where office cubicles were set ablaze.

Los Angeles, CA - Mayor Eric Garcetti (D), Gov Gavin Newsom (D) Dozens of rioters blocked Highway 101. The demonstrations turned violent when police worked to disperse crowds in downtown Los Angeles. Multiple businesses were looted. Hundreds were arrested and at least five police officers were injured.

Oakland, CA - Mayor Libby Schaaf (D), Gov Gavin Newsom (D)

Chicago, IL - Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot (D), Gov J. B. Pritzker (D) Dozens of rioters wearing face masks. Illinois State Police assisted Chicago police "with several crowds of rioters.

Atlanta, GA - Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D), Gov Brian Kemp [R] In Atlanta hundreds of rioters converged outside CNN’s downtown headquarters spray-painting a large CNN logo outside the building, broke a window, and tagged doors. Police was pelted bottles. Protesters used an accelerant to burn an American flag.

Washington, D.C. - Mayor Muriel Bowser (D), Angry protesters arrived at Pennsylvania Avenue, sparking a lockdown at the White House.

Denver, CO - Mayor Michael Hancock (D), Gov Jared Polis (D) Denver Police Dept used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse rioters outside the State Capitol who were throwing rocks at police officers, setting fires, breaking windows and damaging cars. Three officers were injured and that 13 people were arrested.

New York, NY - Mayor Bill de Blasio (D), Gov Andrew Cuomo (D) Rioters set fire to police dept. Dozens were arrested; officers and protesters injured. Rioters threw debris at the Barclays Center.
