try running into ANY crowd swinging a sword and see what happens to you dumbass. Any state, any small town, any city, anywhere, any time. Sure you can defend your property, but you can't run down the street through crowds of people with a sword and even make that a legal defense.
What he did was 100% illegal and he reaped the consequences of his stupidity and illegal actions.
Had any 2a or cop been there, he would be dead. He got lucky.
