Be aware that the given advice about that 'more than one move to get your keys' business might work in some jurisdictions, but NOT in all.

In Florida (and other places I'm sure) if they are ANYWHERE that you can get them, they are as good as in the ignition, you going bye bye.

That 'more than one move' business may work with a gun IF it is in the glove compartment and you have a permit, but not with your keys.

If you find that you can't drive and it's necessary you stay with the car, you need to lock the keys in the trunk (WHERE THEY ARE COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE TO YOU), and when the cop shows up and wants to know where the keys are, you tell him they are locked in the trunk, I have a friend (or a taxi) coming to pick me up, and I will come back tomorrow with my spare set and take the car home then.

With NO disrespect intended to any of the locals;

This is the first time I've wished I lived within striking distance of Pittsburgh.

I would be there right now with a pressure washer while that mess was fresh, and take care of business.

Bleach and clean the whole thing after the paint removal, and it would look 30 years younger.

Of course, I would welcome help to babysit it, so tonight when [they] came back we

could teach them some manners their daddy should have taught them long ago.
