Get involved with Republican politics and you'll see it's basically one shit sandwich after another. Military is likely similar. There are more than a few states with seriously bad, corrupt, comped governments and law enforcement agencies.

It's not such an easy thing to declare war on city hall.

Going after the local chief of police, for instance, is a good way to have your life ruined. But the local LEO leadership is where a lot of the rot is coming from (or the ones who are truly comped and responsible for a lot of bad stuff).

If there were some movement to "clean up our house" or something like that to tie people in from around the country, and embolden them, that might be a worthwhile endeavor.
