Anon argues two-party political system violates The Ninth Commandment and offers alternative.
a) Political parties have complex and nebulous platforms making it impossible for any individual to be fully in agreement with all the Party Platform Issues. When we label ourselves or others as The Party, we bear witness about the individual's position on the party issues. This will always be false on some issues. This will always bear false witness. Always.
b) Each candidate must run on their own declared & prioritized platform of issue positions forcing more argument about issues.
The future will be brighter when we argue issues rather than identity, people and parties.
