I've been squeamish about redpilling my dad. He's very set in his ways and was all in for Bernie during the election only to vote for Hillary. Now he just posts Anti-Trump nonsense on Facebook from time to time.

He recently posted some obnoxious commentary about how Trump was going after Bezos as some sort of move toward CENSORSHIP OF THE MEDIA (since he owns the Washington Post which my dad reads)! OMFG.

I couldn't let that one go so I replied saying that I wouldn't worry about Bezos if I was him. I asked if he'd seen the latest headlines about how fabulously wealthy Bezos was (with a link to a business insider article) and then I indicated that if Bezos was ever investigated he could pay off congress just like Zuckerberg and I posted a link to the zerohedge article about Zuckerberg's generous contributions to the congresspeople intending to "interview" him.

I should hope my father should see that these people are so wealthy that Trump's public lynching of them is not akin to censorship but I kind of doubt he'll come around.

I have to be careful because my dad is very passionate about politics and will fly into a nonsensical rant at the drop of a hat. That's why I stuck to articles and provable facts. My dad does not run on facts at all, just fakenews.
