[they] were gonna kill off a bunch of us with covid, then the rest of us would finish ourselves off by killing each other in a race war.

I doubt Floyd is dead.

[They] WANT you to react. Whether white, black, brown, they are trying to goad you to react.

If they infiltrated left groups, they have infiltrated the right groups as well. This anon always thought the sons of confederate veterans and the reenactment groups were incredibly stupid and a colossal waste of time. Now I wonder if [they] arent funding them, as well.

The one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God. The same applies to life. We have to move forward, and leave the old things behind, because time is moving forward, not backward. I know I'm rambling.

Two people have been shot dead by police during the protests in Davenport, Iowa last night….

UPDATE: 2 people dead after unrest in Davenport; police officer shot after being 'ambushed'

Around 10 p.m. Sunday, police heard disturbances around the NorthPark Mall involving 100 vehicles and "rioters," Davenport Police Chief Paul Sikorski said in a news conference around 5 a.m.

Police responded over 20 shots fired calls, Davenport Mayor Mike Matson said at a 9 a.m. news conference.

There were four shooting victims, including a Davenport police officer, Matson said.

People died in shootings at a Walmart on West Kimberly Road and in the 1100 block of West 15th Street, Sikorski said. Police are investigating the fatalities as homicides.

Around 3 a.m., officers were ambushed in the area of 15th and Myrtle streets, Sikorski said. Three officers were riding in the same vehicle at the time and the vehicle was in motion when they were ambushed, he said. One officer was shot, one officer returned fire and several rounds hit the officers' vehicle, he said.

Two officers are now on paid administrative leave and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the shooting, Sikorski said. This protocol is normal following officer-involved shootings, he said.

"They were not like the protests and demonstrations Saturday," Sikorski said. "What we experienced tonight, last night was completely unacceptable and it does not honor the memory of Mr. Floyd."

Police confirmed there were more than 45 "serious disturbance" calls, Sikorski said.
