If you’re a millennial, you probably spent many of your teen years reading Teen Vogue to get dating advice, fashion tips, and the hottest gossip about your favorite celebrities. If you picked up the magazine in 2020, however, you would quickly realize that the publication has entirely changed.

This week, in the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd, Teen Vogue latched on to President Donald Trump’s condemnation of Antifa, a violent left-wing extremist group that glorifies the doctrine of communists, and published a piece hailing the group as one that “aspires toward creating a better world.”

Here’s how a historian described the group to Teen Vogue: “I would say Antifa is a pan-radical-left politic, or activity of militant self-defense against the far right. It is a specific tendency, within a broader historical anti-fascist movement that goes back a century, that focuses on pan-left politics and a direct action strategic or tactical emphasis on fighting the far right.”

The historian continued, “They don’t think that we should turn to the police or the state to stop neo-Nazi or far-right organizing; instead they advocate popular opposition and, if necessary, a militant response.”

In her later remarks, she described to the magazine that the group was fighting racism and compared their efforts to fighting Nazis and Hitler in World War II.

UK Will Use Veto To Block Russia’s Potential Return to G7, Downing Street Spokesperson Says

The United Kingdom will use its veto to block Russia’s potential return to the G7 bloc in the wake of comments made by US President Donald Trump, who said that he would invite President Vladimir Putin to a September summit, a Downing Street spokesperson said on Monday.

"We would not support it being readmitted as a member of the group unless it ceases aggressive and destabilising activity that threatens the safety of UK citizens and the collective security of our allies," the spokesperson said, as quoted by The Independent newspaper.

The US will hold the next G7 summit, which was initially scheduled to take place in June. However, on Sunday, Trump said that the meeting will be postponed until September, adding that the current format is "outdated" and that he will invite the leaders of India, Australia, South Korea, and Russia to the next summit.

"In terms of invitations issued by the host country, that is a matter for them. At recent G7s, the host country has invited countries from outside the group. It’s an established principle that that is what the host nation can do," the spokesperson said, as quoted by the newspaper.

In the aftermath of Trump’s comments, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow is still waiting to receive information of any invitation to the upcoming G7 summit.

Russia was part of the bloc, which was then called the G8, until 2014, when disagreements over events that took place in Ukraine and Crimea resulted in Moscow's exit.

Other countries in the organization have accused Russia of interfering in Ukraine’s domestic affairs, although Moscow has refuted all the allegations.

George Floyd Protests Continue; Over 4,400 Arrested Amid Unrest, Reports Say

At least 4,400 people have been arrested nationwide as peaceful protests expressing grief and anger over the police custody death of George Floyd have in many cases been marred by looting, violence, and arson.

According to a count compiled by The Associated Press, the several thousand arrests have been for such offenses as blocking highways, theft, and assault.

While thousands marched peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, with some calling for an end to riots and looting, elsewhere there was widespread violence against property and people.

Fires burned near the White House, stores were looted in Southern California, and disturbing footage of violent acts flooded social media, including of a mob beating an elderly female shop owner in Rochester, New York.

Another disturbing incident caught on camera took place in Dallas, Texas, where a man reported to be store owner defending his shop with a sword was set upon by a mob and beaten unconscious.

The unrest began with peaceful protests over the May 25 death of Floyd, a black man, who communicated trouble breathing as Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, restrained him with a knee to the neck and head area for nearly 9 minutes.

Chauvin, fired from the Minneapolis Police Department, was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, though that did little to stem the fury.

Pandemic times haven’t really done much for my optimism about anything . Lately, I keep pondering worst-case scenarios, like Joe Biden getting elected. I still think President Trump will prevail in November, but we really can’t rule out anything this year.

We have all spent a lot of time these past few days watching race rioting break out in every liberal enclave in America, most of us stunned at 2020’s ability to continually get worse. I keep peeking out the window to check for locusts now.

I’m writing this column on the first night of statewide riot-induced curfew here in Arizona that I find to be even more objectionable than the stay-at-home shutdown crap. One thing keeps running through my mind the past few days: if we make it through all of this only to end up having Crazy Joe the Wonder Veep in the White House I’m going to need to move to another planet.

Much of the discussion in recent months about Biden has focused on his obviously deteriorating mental condition, which is valid. I maintain that he’s been like this for years but people used to just write it off as part of his quirky personality.

As I said in my Friday Morning Briefing, the fact that the shutdown has given Team Biden a reason to keep him out of the public eye has been the greatest stroke of good fortune for any candidate in modern history. Absent debates or public campaigning, Biden’s policies haven’t gotten the scrutiny they would normally be getting.

Joe Biden isn’t a terribly bright man or an original thinker. He had a rather unremarkable Senate career even though it went on for decades. When it comes to stances on issues, it’s easy to see that he’s just parroting whatever his handlers have told him. His Twitter feed reads like a list of bland, pandering platitudes that came out of a book titled Things That Democrats Probably Say.

A Budding Progressive

Biden was presented as a more centrist option in the 2020 Democratic field but that wasn’t difficult ground to stake out in that group of progressives. Like all Democrats, however, he’s been in a leftward drift for a while now.

Let It Xi: Former Beatles Manager Paid Millions to Boost Chinese Regime in U.S.

The Beatles manager who orchestrated the ill-advised wedding between John Lennon and Yoko Ono is now the Chinese government's pointman to build ties between Beijing and American journalists and officials.

Peter Brown, who managed the world-famous band until its disbandment in 1970, now uses his public relations skills to advance the interests of the Chinese regime. Brown, through his firm BLJ Worldwide, has arranged dozens of American reporters to visit China on all-expenses-paid trips and placed pro-Chinese op-eds in top U.S. outlets.

The Chinese embassy in the United States and the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation (CUSEF)—a registered foreign agent with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party—have paid nearly $4 million to Brown's firm since 2016. As part of the contract with the embassy, Brown's team provided media training to Chinese diplomats, monitored news reports about China, and assisted "crisis communications" on key issues such as the trade war and the annual Communist Party Congress.

"The protectionist and economically nationalist approach leads to no solution. A trade war is absolutely a wrong choice, which will only destroy trade itself," read a 2018 Time magazine op-ed written by Chinese ambassador Cui Tiankai. Brown's firm helped place that op-ed in the magazine.

Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), who sits on the GOP China Task Force, blasted Brown's decision to work with Beijing as "shameful."

"Peter Brown profited off of America's openness and now does the bidding of totalitarian communists who never would have tolerated a band like the Beatles. It's shameful," Banks told the Washington Free Beacon. "Maybe he took songs like ‘Back in the U.S.S.R.' a little too seriously, but the song ‘Money' probably gets closer to his motivations."

Brown did not respond to a request for comment.

You may not know it, but if you live in the UK and have contacted the NHS with any coronavirus-related health concerns, your data is now being used for research. This is regardless of whether you have previously tried to stop this happening by requesting to use the national data opt-out service.

Data being used may include your medical records or anything collected by healthcare providers in relation to your care. Researchers in universities, government and also private companies are using it to scrutinise the way the virus is transmitted, how the disease progresses, and to help analyse which treatment options are most effective.

Using this data during a time of public emergency may seem reasonable to many people. But this does not avoid the fact that most of us view our medical records as private. So people will rightly be concerned that their data is being shared without their knowledge or consent.

There are two main laws that dictate how healthcare data privacy in the UK is handled: the European-wide General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and an additional UK-specific protection called the Common Law Duty of Confidentiality.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this second legal duty has been quietly relaxed and the authority of an important review body suspended to allow researchers unprecedented access to patient data.

GDPR and your data

In the UK, the Data Protection Act 2018 turns the principles outlined in the EU’s GDPR into national law.

GDPR is helpful because it provides a definition of personal data and special category personal data, which includes healthcare records.

The legislation also provides details of how such data should be handled and safeguarded, including the importance of identifying the lawful basis under which the data is to be stored and processed. There are six possibilities for such a basis:

One thing to note with GDPR is that all six legal bases are equal. The Stonewall Riots occurred in New York City in 1969 and are considered a crucial event in the emergence of the gay rights movement.

However, as the Wall Street Journal noted last year, the drama and violence of the riots overshadowed a non-violent gay rights movement that had already existed for a decade, and which lay the groundwork for what followed:

After all, with the company set to equitize billions in debt, there will be zero left for existing equityholders.

And yet, not only has the stampede of Robin Hood traders into bankrupt HTZ not moderated, but in the week since the company sought bankruptcy protection, the number of Robinhood holders of the worthless stock has increased by 50%, hitting an all time high of 60K according to Robin Track.

And while one can, in theory, explain this ludicrous and relentless euphoria to the perpetual BTFD "strategy" spawned by central banks, which step in every single time there is a modest market pullback, at this point one just has to sit back and laugh at the idiocy that Powell's "market" has become.

Facebook, quite literally, wants to hear your thoughts

Facebook has a new patent for "subvocalized speech recognition glasses."

Big Tech is these days often accused of failing to come up with any breakthrough innovation for a very long time, being satisfied instead to harvest user data, sell ads, and collect gazillions of dollars in the process.

And when they do appear to be attempting to come up with something new, these products and services seem, and often prove to be, far-fetched, impractical, or just solutions to problems that don’t exist.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg last year spoke about a future filled with brain-reading wearable devices, even if at that time only at the research level. But Facebook now has an actual patent ready for a device that would merely “hear” human thoughts.

Having apparently learned nothing from the Google Glass fiasco – that showed people were unwilling to wear awkward glasses in exchange for some convenience while using their devices – Facebook’s patent reveals the company also wants to go down the smart glasses route.

Why anyone would want their thoughts read by a Facebook remains to be seen. Only the market will tell, if and when this product comes to it. And it also remains unclear if Facebook has really been partnering with MIT “for years” on research into this field just for the sake of making use of voice assistants slightly more comfortable to some people (who don’t mind having their minds read, though.)

Elsewhere, Amazon is still trying to make drone deliveries happen – but the problem with this idea has always been more regulatory than technical. (And tech giants are – for the moment – still unable to change regulation through patents.)

Michigan Democrat Party Chair: ‘If You Support Donald Trump, You Are a Racist’

The chairwoman of the Michigan Democrat Party (MDP) condemned all supporters of Donald Trump as “racist” during a Sunday tirade.

On the same day rioters attacked businesses and even Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s office building in downtown Lansing, MDP chair Lavora Barnes smeared Trump’s backers.

In a statement titled, “The Time for Silence is Over,” Barnes warned the tactics Democrats are using do not “seem to be working” before she attacked Trump’s supporters.

“If you support Donald Trump, you are a racist. Here is where it gets tricky and uncomfortable,” she said.

“Donald Trump is a racist, and if being a racist is not a dealbreaker for you, you are the reason Black people are being murdered for being Black.”

Barnes claimed it “is time to challenge, time to have uncomfortable conversations with people that are not ready to have them. It is time to risk some friendships, time to make waves at work, time to recognize that we are past politics now.”

She proposed a new system of justice:

Here is what I want to see: I want the economic oppression of Black communities to stop, including holding the oppressors accountable. I want meaningful criminal justice reform. And I want law enforcement to actually do their jobs and prosecute hate crimes, and when law enforcement participates in racist conduct I want them held accountable — not by the prosecutors and colleagues they work with every day, but by an independent body, that they hold no sway over.

In 2019, Barnes praised Whitmer on Twitter, saying, “The state of our state is trending up and the future looks very bright with Governor Gretchen Whitmer now in the driver’s seat!”

On Monday, Whitmer refused to condemn the rioters who attacked the governor’s office building in Lansing.

“There were certainly a lot of demonstrators who peacefully protested, who were organizing and focused on solving problems,” Whitmer told WLNS.

“And then there were others that I think who came in under the guise of supporting that but were actually more intent on creating harm, and I think that undermines the work that we need in this country and I’m hopeful we don’t see more of it.”

Looking exasperated, Whitmer said, “We’re working our way through a global pandemic. We had a 500-year flood on top of it, and of course, this is years in the making of abuse and sadness.”

“And so, I think the prevailing reaction is sadness, and it’s got to be determination. We owe it to everyone in this state and in this country to do better…”

‘Police will not break into homes; children will not be microchipped’

Police will not be able to break into private homes, and children won’t be microchipped,

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear on Monday during his Likud faction meeting.

“It is important to dispel some of the fake news that has appeared in the media,” Netanyahu said. “I have now spoken with the public security minister, and we have unequivocally agreed that we will not allow police to break into the homes of Israeli citizens without a warrant.

“We will find the right balance between the need to enforce isolation guidelines and the need to protect the rights of individuals and the civil liberties of Israeli citizens,” he continued. “We are aware that in the public there is a thought that we will unravel this balance. We have not done so until now, and we will not do so in the future.”

Mainstream and social media erupted late Sunday after the government released a memorandum of the Coronavirus Bill that, if passed, would turn into law a set of emergency coronavirus regulations. The draft appeared to be infringing on individual rights, including allowing police forces unlimited authority and prohibiting demonstrations.

The legislation is meant to grant the government special powers to deal with a predicted emergency second wave of the coronavirus for 45 days, with the Knesset able to extend the emergency period every 30 days for up to 10 months.

“This memorandum proposed to authorize the government, in primary legislation, to enact regulations for active restrictions on the population in the private and public spheres in a variety of areas in life, in accordance with the areas currently regulated by the Emergency Regulations,” a synopsis of the memorandum reads on the government’s website.

The draft appeared to grant powers to the government to decide upon new emergency measures without Knesset approval.

The bill will be brought to its first votes next week. It is expected to be challenged in the Supreme Court.

EU's Top Diplomat Calls for Rapprochement With Russia and End of 'American-Led System'

A recent address by the EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borell, hints at a new pro-Asian political order on the continent as Germany gets ready to lead the 27-nation bloc. But, is it just a ploy to check Chinese hegemony?

A significant change in the global balance of power may be in the offing if we are to believe declarations made by EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell while addressing a group of German ambassadors on Monday in Brussels. Borell reportedly “created a diplomatic headache” when he called for the end of the “American-led system” and made the case for ushering in an “Asian century” centered around stabilizing European relations with Russia.

Borell ruffled more feathers earlier in the week when he publicly opposed “any Israeli initiative toward the annexation of parts of the West Bank,” but stopped short of articulating any concrete steps the EU might take to curb Israeli abuses in the region, stating that the EU would limit itself to “diplomatic action in order to avoid any unilateral action” by Israel in Gaza, despite support by several European nations for punitive actions against the apartheid state.

Nevertheless, Borell’s most recent comments before the German ambassadors are noteworthy for the simple fact that Germany is set to take over the presidency of the EU, as well as the UN Security Council in July, giving the EU’s chief diplomat’s words particular resonance and may point to a new phase in the broader Atlanticist geopolitical playbook.

However, in this case, Hendel explicitly said he believed the court could theoretically disqualify a prime minister at the indictment stage (pre-conviction). He merely did not think that the Netanyahu case was severe enough for such dramatic action.

Progressive Justice Daphna Barak-Erez also made it clear that she believed the court could theoretically disqualify a prime minister, but should not exercise that power in the specific case of Netanyahu. Most of the other seven progressive or moderate progressive justices (out of 11 on the panel) did not take as clear a stand about potentially disqualifying a prime minister in the future.

The family of Nathan Turner are demanding an apology from the government after the coal miner was declared 'Australia's youngest COVID-19 victim' only for an autopsy to reveal he didn't have the virus.

The 30-year-old was found dead at his home in Blackwater, in regional Queensland, by his fiancee Simone Devon last Tuesday.

Queensland Health said Mr Turner died from coronavirus in a case that puzzled doctors given he had not left his small town since February.

But on Monday, in a shocking twist, an autopsy found Mr Turner did not have the deadly virus.

Mr Turner's friends have created a Change.org petition calling on Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and chief health officer Jeannette Young to apologise to his family and the community for creating 'chaos and panic'.

He also urged Americans to fight for a president, Congress, Justice Department and federal judges that “actually recognize the ongoing, corrosive role that racism plays in our society and want to do something about it,” but noted that state and local offices matter most when it comes to police reform.

Employees at Facebook are annoyed at CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s refusal to act against President Donald Trump, sharing their dissatisfaction with his decision online for all to see.

Grumblings amongst the employees were heard at all levels of the company, with the main criticism being aimed at Facebook’s decision to leave Trump’s post allegedly “glorifying violence” untouched, even as Twitter hid the same text behind a warning.

In his May 29 Twitter thread, Trump first decried what he called “a total lack of leadership” in Minneapolis, before proceeding to unload on “THUGS” that were “dishonoring the memory of George Floyd.” The part that Twitter took issue with read “when the looting starts, the shooting starts” and was interpreted as a threat to looters and rioters.

The tweet remains accessible “in the public’s interest,” but only after a user clicks on a warning message covering it.

Being an Indian-American lawyer in New York City, I see first-hand the con-artist chicanery of the Jewish billionaires who run this city (and country) and how they, in order to avoid getting exposed, install the cruelest, dumbest, most incompetent, and unethical money and power hungry Blacks into positions of authority, (of course where a Jewish Communist is always at the top of that agency) in order to do their bidding.

Who can accuse a Black judge of being racist?

Or a black police officer of being a racist thug?

Or a black administrative government worker of violating your civil rights or being corrupt, incompetent, inefficient, or unfair?

The problem is, Jews and Blacks work together, in tandem (I call it the "gangster nightclub model") wherein Jews act as the brains/organizers/money power, while their Blacks operate as the "bouncers"or the "muscle."

The vast majority of people that these two races oppress, hurt, exploit, extort, target, steal from, threaten, terrorize, humiliate, torture are non-Jews and non-Blacks.

In other words, the people of New York City who get destroyed by this "model of repression" are American citizen descendants of India, China, Mexico, Arab/Muslim nations, Koreans, Asians, Philipinos, Albanians, Latinos, Hispanics, and everyone else (including Christian Non-Jewish Whites).

These two races (Blacks and Jews) have pound for pound, chosen/elevated ALL of the elected officials in New York City (and State) including all of the federal/state judges, congress and senate, and executive branch of the richest most powerful city in America, New York City, which acts as a progressive, communist, socialist trend-setter for the rest of the nation.

After the Jewish Mafia in 1994 gave then New York U.S. Attorney Rudolph Giuliani, all of the physical evidence that he needed to convict and incarcerate the entire Italian (Catholic) Mafia in New York, the Jewish Mafia became totally unopposed in their Khazarian Mafia rule over New York City, and the rest of America.

Then the Jews began to actively and aggressively recruit and elevate corrupt, stupid, and easily controllable Blacks as the city's judges (federal and state), legislative and executive, and have been robbing and oppressing everyone else, ever since.

The Jews in the federal and state courts use the Blacks to undermine the U.S. Constitution and to then elevate their own Talmudic, Noahide, Torah-based Jewish laws instead of the U.S. Constitution.

No one apparently sees this, and it's totally frustrating.

Furthermore, no one is talking about the hundreds of thousands of non-Jewish and non-Black American citizens, that are getting killed or murdered or cheated or having their civil rights violated, every single day, by Black police officers, black judges, black administrative workers, black immigration officers, etc.
