I don't know what to say to people anymore. It's a failure of mine.

I have friends who know friends who are in the riots. The current narrative now among the protestors is that Trump is a madman who will try to use the military to prevent the elections.

This doesn't surprise me. It's been clear for a while now that the Deep State would try to use this to paint POTUS as a dictator for acting.

These people-the ones who watch the mainstream media and truly believe it-how do you reason with them? How do you say that the actions of our president are lawful when bad actors have a stranglehold on the information available to them?

I want to help quell people's fears. Somebody help me get my lines straight here.
