Let's say there's a large database loaded with motor vehicle department data. If you give your eye color then you just narrowed down the set of people you could be. If you mention your age bracket it further narrows. Your gender, home state, educational background, whether currently employed or not, whether you have kids or grandkids or not, etc.
Don't be naive.
