Germany’s AfD Party: Trump Needs to go after Antifa Internationally

US President Donald Trump announced his intention to designate “Antifa” as a terrorist organization. Petr Bystron, AfD Spokesman on the Foreign Policy Committee of the German Bundestag, commented:

“Donald Trump is doing the right thing in designating these violent extremist groups as terrorists. Antifa is an anti-democratic hate group whose radical left-wing ideology rejects the free market and freedom of speech. The Alternative for Germany applauds President Trump’s announcement and urges the EU and German government to follow suit and finally act against these openly violent and extremists gangs.

American Antifa is modeled on German Antifa, and finds its supporters in the German mainstream media and politics. German Antifa stages regular violent attacks on AfD members like Frank Magnitz, hunted US journalists like Tim Pool on the street in Hamburg at the G20 summit, and just two weeks ago put a union activist a coma in Stuttgart. Author Ed Klein also documented meetings between US Antifa and ISIS in Hamburg at the G20 riots 2018.

The AfD, the largest opposition party in the German Bundestag, has been attacked and terrorized by Antifa for years, to the applause and encouragement of left-wing media and politicians. We urge the US government to examine the international Antifa terror network all the way up to the highest levels in press and government, and issue travel bans and international arrest warrants where necessary and appropriate.”

Petr Bystron is the Speaker of the Alternative for Germany party (AfD) on the Foreign Policy Committee of the German Bundestag. He received the “Eagle Award” of the Phyllis Schafly Foundation 2018, the first European to do so.

‘Will Continue to Remain Out’: Canadian PM Trudeau Opposes Russia’s Potential Return to G7

On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced the postponement of the scheduled Group of Seven (G7) summit, from the end of June until possibly September, revealing that he is intending to invite Russia, South Korea, Australia, and India.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday said that Ottawa is opposed to a potential return of Russia to the G7 proposed by US President Donald Trump, over Moscow’s “continued disrespect and flaunting of international rules”.

“Russia was excluded from the G7 after it invaded Crimea a number of years ago, and its continued disrespect and flaunting of international rules and norms is why it remains outside of the G7, and it will continue to remain out,” Trudeau told reporters during his daily news conference.

In response to a reporter's question on whether he would attend the summit if Russian President Vladimir Putin were present, Trudeau avoided giving a clear answer, saying that “many discussions” needed to take place before the meeting.

On Monday, the United Kingdom said in response to Trump’s intention to invite Russia to participate in the next G7 summit in Washington that it would use its veto to block readmitting Moscow as a member of the group.

“We would not support it being readmitted as a member of the group unless it ceases aggressive and destabilising activity that threatens the safety of UK citizens and the collective security of our allies,” the spokesperson said, quoted by The Independent.

The spokesperson acknowledged, however, that the summit host country has the right to invite nations from outside the group to take part in the meetings, as “it’s an established principle”.

Trump on Saturday proposed inviting the leaders of South Korea, Australia, India and Russia to the next G7 summit, planned to take place in Washington DC, declaring that the current format is “outdated”. Russia, a former member of the economic bloc, then called the G8.

The Kremlin in a press release on Monday said that Trump had informed Putin during a Monday phone call about Washington’s plans to hold an expanded G7 summit in September, with the possible invitation of the leaders of Russia, Australia, India and the Republic of Korea.

Russia left the G7 group, formerly called G8, in 2014, in the wake of disagreements over events that took place in Ukraine and Crimea.

Members of the group accused Russia of interfering in Ukraine’s domestic affairs, although Moscow refuted the allegations.

‘We Need to Burn This Sh*t Down… The West Is Falling!’ Black Lives Matter Protest in London

The George Floyd protests took a global turn over the weekend as Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists took to the streets of London to ‘stand up to racism’ and to celebrate the riots engulfing the United States, which they claim is a signal that “the West is falling”.

In a Breitbart News Network exclusive video, thousands of protesters were filmed gathering in Central London on Sunday, in open defiance of the national coronavirus restrictions.

In stark contrast to the arrests of peaceful anti-lockdown protesters in Hyde Park the day before, the Metropolitan Police took no actions to stop the left-wing demonstration that lasted well into the evening and spanned several miles of the city.

“It’s time to wake up and get out [of] the house and fuck this place up, man. I’m tired of this shit. We need to burn this shit down. I don’t care what the London mayor says. The West is falling! The West is falling!” screamed a BLM speaker in Trafalgar Square.

Prior to the protest, the leftist mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, urged citizens on social media to stay at home, saying that the “lockdown has not been lifted. The virus is still out there.”

A young, left-wing, white woman then urged the native population of Britain to: “Use your white privilege and help our brothers and sisters. Use your white privilege because we are the only people, cause we created the system that help[s] the police cover up all these deaths.”

Another BLM protester said: “I stand in the face of racism every single day… like we all do. We are all here because we are experiencing secondary trauma from the brutalisation that we experience based on the fact that racism is embedded in the very structure of this society.”

Louisville police chief fired after it is revealed that officers in yet another shooting did not have body cameras activated

Louisville Police Chief Steve Conrad, who was already under fire for his department's handling of the investigation into the shooting of Breonna Taylor, was relieved of duty today by Louisville mayor Greg Fischer, less than one month before he was scheduled to retire. The final straw for Conrad appears to have been the revelation that, following public outcry over the fact that the officers who shot Breonna Taylor were not wearing body cameras, the officers who shot and killed Louisville business owner David McAtee also did not have their body cameras activated.

The fatal shooting that led to Conrad's dismissal occurred early Monday morning as Louisville police officers and National Guard soldiers fired into a crowd of protesters, after claiming that they were fired upon first. One of the bullets struck and killed McAtee, who owns popular Louisville restaurant YaYa's BBQ. It is completely unclear at this moment whether McAtee is even suspected of having fired the alleged shot the officers responded to, as authorities have thus far only stated that the matter is under investigation.

When it was revealed that the officers involved in the shooting either were not wearing body cameras or did not have them activated, Fischer wasted no time. In a fiery statement, Fischer said, "This kind of institutional failure will not be tolerated. An immediate change in leadership is required."

The body camera issue is an especially thorny one in Louisville due to the circumstances of Breonna Taylor's shooting. One of the critical questions involved in that shooting centers on whether the plainclothes officers who busted through Taylor's door to serve a "no knock warrant" announced that they were police. The officers claim they did; however, Taylor's boyfriend Kenneth Walker (who returned fire, injuring a police officer) and other witnesses say they did not. Body camera footage could have helped to clear up the circumstances of the shooting, but it was revealed that the officers involved were not wearing them in spite of a massive Louisville PD initiative designed to ensure all street officers were equipped with body cameras.
