It's really up to each baker what they want to do as far as id goes, the pastebin checking isn't some arbitrary thing that bakers suddenly wanted to do but an attempt to eliminate problems that came up during the last month. You can ask for a paste if departing (if you want) or offer one when arriving. Your choice.

we had problems starting last month, baker, you can read about em if you want to over in comms on bakers meta. So one idea was to ask bakers for recent pastes. The desire has always been to keep the dough and the kitchen clean but it can be hard to figure the best way to do it.

I say that as a baker who does not really like that approach that much but still respects why some bakers are trying it out.
