> It all depends on who is making the point
You can't give something credence based on your high opinion of the messenger. That's about as stupid an argument I've ever heard.
@POTUS could have held a presser and read off investigative materials pointing to Fauci's connections to research facilities, and drug manufacturers, and provided evidence that the virus was manufactured and delivered across the country despite his best efforts at stopping it.
He could have then explained why he dragged those two ineffectual doctors out; in order to expose them for the frauds they are. Instead, the entire WH played along with it, and are currently allowing a plethora of counter-studies to the efficacy of HCQ from an entire host of enemy doctors getting their palms greased for putting out shit falsehoods about a drug that's been around for 70 years.
I get @POTUS loves the long game, and there are many in his circle that believe this "Show instead of tell" mentality is going to be the best way of going about this, but to be frank, many of my acquaintances have simply jumped ship despite my best efforts to show them what's happening.
People tune it all out, and go on about their business, or get convinced that something drastic needs to change next election. Needless to say, @POTUS and the Republicans are going to win in a landslide, next election, but the route they are going about it is losing some lifelong conservatives along the way. I know I'm not the only one seeing this happen.
