Has anyone seen an announcement by the federal government naming Antifa a terrorist organization? Does it have to be formally declared according to the criminal code? By whom? POTUS? DHS?

If not declared can they be tried as terrorists? Basic ex-post facto law, can't try crimes previously committed under the provisions of a new law, or updates to a law.

Why the delay? Did I miss it? Seems to give Antifa an out from terrorism prosecution until it is formally declared?
