Anons quick story … Retired NYPD here … Rookie in Brooklyn assigned to a Demonstration in Brooklyn 1990 … We were told the chief of the Borough of Brooklyn said Absolutely NO arrests … So I am standing in front of a store getting yelled at by Sonny Carson’s crew of professional demonstrators from New Jersey … Not even New Yorkers …. Well a Full Inspector gets in an argument with one of the Demonstrators and the guy punches Inspector in face .. We grab and cuff the guy and he is brought to the 70 pct …. Well the Inspector got his ass chewed out ..they voided the arrest and drove this perp back up to the demonstration …. Let me give you NYPD ranks ….
