Anons, I encourage those of you under curfew without evidence of civil unrest to contact your local, state and federal representatives and the Department of Justice civil rights division and file a report.

I have received a response from my county supervisor office that indicates there is no civil unrest in my area (not my block or town, my several hundred square mile region), cites previous years drive by shooting as justification (no curfew then) and admits many people in the region have very long commutes (curfew 6pm to 6am). I have no ability to get groceries or do any other critical errands within the curfew hours as I am fortunate enough to still have a job but with a long commute due to the remote area in which I live and work.
The county supervisor office seems to have become particularly interested in my complaint to them as I mentioned filing a Department of Justice civil rights complaint. I didn't get a response when I complained about the Covid-19 stay home order extension, I have gotten two replies in 8 hours by mentioning the Department of Justice report I filed.
