with so many normies acting hypocritical regarding their support for looting, I was thinking.. why is it "right" to oppose something happening to others that you wouldn't want done to you? I certainly BELIEVE this, but why is integrity "good" ? Did integrity and not being a hypocrite lead to increased survival or reproduction in the past? Is this why we feel its good?

That makes a lot of sense, anon.. and trustworthiness is certainly a trait that can increase a population's survival.
