South Korea never lets a president finish out their term. I don't think it is related…. Or… Any more so than any other time the ROK has jailed their president.
In 2008, when I was there, I wondered why in the hell someone would run for that office… Ten years later, I have the same question. Makes me wonder if the better question is where they get the candidates for that office.
