Trump JUST called the Social networks PUBLISHERS - removing their liability shield, which I thought was most relevant in a defamation context. Twitter is in the moderation game now, they're no longer a platform, they're a publisher, and Twitter, therefore is taking an active role (by not deleting, they're approving) in helping rioters destroy property and steal.
Twitter can be sued. They're not Ma Bell any more. They have the same legal standing as the chans, and this site, and people get pissed when some random person types some random thing that might or might not be true. Here's we see complex networks working with Twitter in real time to commit many many crimes.
