Hello Qanons, I know most of you won't believe this but I am a journalist
with a major media outlet and have been for many years. I understand your
frustrations and I also understand what must be done. I'm not asking anyone
for sympathy but I feel like my side should be heard. I don't think my story
is specifically uncommon, in fact, I feel it is probably more common than
unusual. I graduated from college and moved directly to an internship
at a regional media facility. From there I had a chance meeting (may not
have been chance, who knows, really?) with someone that "got me in" at
the organization that I am at now. At first I was enamoured with the
surroundings. The high-profile people we associated with coupled with
high dollar affairs and lots of alcohol, it was easy to be convinced of
certain things. Many of us really believed we were working for the best
outcome of America. Many of us didn't think we were working for a foreign
intruder trying to overthrow the country. By the time we realized it,
it was too late.
I know many of us will have to pay the consequence of our action. I know
many of us are going to face serious charges for crimes against the state.
I don't hope to avoid this, but I do hope that as it unfolds, you keep your
humanity and you spare the lives of those of us who were deceived.
Formally, I apologize to the American People for my deeds.
