I guess we have to let them play all their cards, so that the public eventually sees how they lied to the public's face to the very end.
Also, everything patriots do now while in power - to allow the other side a chance to have their voices heard, and rights to fair legal processes (although all they do is lie and scheme) - is setting a precedent for when eventually someday a party other than patriots are in power. If we were to just shut down and shut out the opposition now because "we know they are evil" (although it's true), then they will more easily be able to take that approach against patriots someday because "they know we are evil" (although it's not true).
