One of the liberal's biggest accomplishments in the past century is to make antagonism the primary way people of opposing viewpoints relate to each other. There always has to be something wrong and you always have to blame someone.
Statesmanship has long been dead. Everyone take an adversarial position whenever there is conflict. That needs to change. We do need civility. We can't even get that on this board sometimes.

POTUS decides who his controlled opposition is. They're all playing roles too.
A strong man determines who he'll fight, when and how. POTUS knows his opponents/enemy's strengths and weaknesses and uses those to accomplish his purposes.
There's really no point, then, of us wetting our panties over who's who. We don't know which person is which chess piece. We just know the game proceeds and we're winning.
