Don't know, probably don't want to speculate - we'd have to see the bills.

There are so many anti-counterfeit measures in the actual money printing today.

The biggest one is the paper is very unique and very custom.

No one really pays attention to $1 bills - easy to overlook.

Most areas look at $20 and larger - but I've known people to look at all cash regardless of denomination

My Dad got busted passing a fake $5 he got from change he received elsewhere - at a gas station.

BTW, $1 are still in the old style. So there might be engraving plates easily altered floating around.
