I just heard today that the "Statue of Liberty" was widely known as the "Goddess of Liberty" a century ago. Checks out! I was there for my first time in '86 when it was engulfed in scaffolding for the remodel/shoring it up/whatever that's called. There more I learn of our history, the less enthralled I am by the design/arcitecture/symbolism it was built on.

Las Vegas seems to definitely have just had that earthquake some have been predicting (or a lesser versioin thereof).
