10 kHz is NOT a wide bandwidth transmission.

It's just slightly wider than a standard SSB transmission, which is much narrower than AM or FM. So that statement is bullshit.

 

The article you liked so much also contained some other easily-spotted bullshit where terminology was used incorrectly.

This statement for example is ridiculous:

Bandwidth does not get encrypted; signals get encrypted.

But there are many places that can transmit high power signals and can encrypt them
