What did the bald cop put in his pocket before taking George Floyd to his death?

In the security cam footage at about 3:15 you can see Floyd say something to the bald cop. The cop then leans in closer as Floyd says something to him. The cop points towards the ground, then bends over, picks something up off the ground, and puts it quickly into his pocket. What was it? Is it in any report? Drugs seem likely, but why would the cop pocket it? What else could it have been?
I hope this gets a notable for visibility. This questions needs to be asked by someone in a position to ask questions.
