Yes, George Soros Sent Money to Fund the Riots—and So Did Taxpayers

Ever since the protests turned to riots over the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis, rumors have flown that George Soros and his Open Society Foundation had to be involved. After all, OSF funded Black Lives Matter in 2015. It didn’t take long to reveal the financial ties to current riots and to show that OSF and George Soros directly support the movement today. Particularly infuriating are the taxpayer-funded grants received in conjunction with the Soros funding.

Daniel Bice of the Milwaukie Journal-Sentinel reports that a group called Freedom, Inc. has received grants from the Wisconsin Department of Justice:

The Madison-based nonprofit has advocated for the release of all African Americans from jail and the defunding of police departments. As for the current protests, the group’s leaders say “all actions against racist state violence are justified.”

“Stop murdering black people, and your glass will be safe,” Monica Adams, co-executive director for Freedom Inc., said while leading the third day of police protests in the state’s capital on Monday.

“Thank all the youth freedom fighters who were in the streets fighting (Sunday) night and Saturday night,” said Mahnker Dahnweih, community power-building coordinator for Freedom Inc. “Every action is a contribution to liberation.”

So where does a group like this get the money it needs to promote its agenda?

A lot of it comes from you.

Records show that the state has awarded contracts and grants worth $3.6 million to Freedom Inc., which advocates for minority and LGBTQ communities, over the past five years.

That includes $876,674 in federal grants awarded by the state Department of Justice since January 2019, when Attorney General Josh Kaul took office. The state Department of Children and Families has paid out $732,403 to Freedom Inc. under Gov. Tony Evers over the past 1½ years.

Chicago Shootout As Latin Gangs Protect Neighborhood From Alleged Looters

As more and more people take matters into their own hands to deal with the looters and rioters, even the Latin gangs in Chicago are coming off looking like the good guys, as they are fighting off the looters. It appears as though several shootings took place, as you can hear shots ringing out as people start scattering.

In another video, we see a few more shootouts, as well as the gangs ramming their big trucks into the looters’ cars. One guy hollers out “F the looters, n, we protect this hood. .. . I had A whole group fo mfs out here trying to loot, they were just parked right here, we f said no, get the f out of our f** neighborhood. We will not let our f* neighborhoods f*** burn!”

It appears as though this took place in Cicero, just west of Chicago.

WGN reports:

Four people shot, two fatally, in Cicero Monday as unrest and protests over the killing of George Floyd continued for another day.

Town spokesman Ray Hanania confirmed the deaths to WGN News. Hanania said at least 60 people were arrested Monday.

Hanania said there have been “outside agitators” that have entered Cicero “after being rebuffed by the closure of downtown Chicago. The only shots fired have been by these outside agitators and looters who are not Cicero residents.”

The identities of the people who were killed have not yet been released. No further information was provided.

Chicago Sun Times adds:

During a night of unrest in Cicero that left two people dead, some residents say police officers allowed Latino gangs to patrol the community with bats and crowbars to fend off looters.

Cicero’s police superintendent called those allegations “ludicrous.”

There also were reports on TV and social media of business owners on rooftops with assault rifles and other guns ready to prevent destruction of their businesses.

And some residents accuse Latino gang members of targeting African Americans driving on Cermak Road.

Shapearl Wells, an African American resident of Cicero, said she and her family were targeted Monday afternoon on Cermak.

It happened first to her cousin, who was driving out from Chicago to visit her. She was at a red light on Cermak Road and Central Avenue when a group of men approached the cousin’s car.

“They told her, ‘You not from around here you n – – – – – bitch,’” Wells said.

She told Wells what happened when she arrived. Wells, who’s lived in Cicero since 2003, was stunned. She went out for a drive to see for herself.

At some point, “about 20 to 25 Latin Kings” approached Wells’ car. “I rolled down my window and they told me I would only be OK if I go in the house and stayed inside.”

She said she called the police to tell them what happened, but nothing was done.

Duo Arrested For Fire-Bombing Minnesota Courthouse

United States Attorney Erica H. MacDonald today announced a federal criminal complaint against Garrett Patrick Ziegler, 24, and Fornandous Cortez Henderson, 32, charging them with arson and possession of Molotov cocktails. Both were ordered to remain in custody pending a formal detention hearing, which is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2020.

According to the allegations in the complaint, in the early morning hours of May 29, 2020, the Apple Valley Police Department (“AVPD”) was dispatched to a fire alarm at the Dakota County Western Service Center (“DCWSC”) in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The DCWSC houses state and local agencies and organizations, including Dakota County court facilities, as well as a U.S. Passport center. Once on scene, officers observed broken windows, smoke, and flames coming from the west side of the building where the judges’ chambers and clerks’ offices are located.

Located at the scene were items consistent with those used in Molotov cocktails, including broken glass jars and liquor bottles, pushpins, intact glass jars containing ignitable liquid and a charred red bandana.

According to the allegations in the complaint, officers found a set of car keys in the grass near the DCWSC belonging to a Ford Fiesta parked in a neighboring business’ parking lot. Officers later executed a search warrant on the vehicle, which was registered to Ziegler, and recovered several items, including liquor bottles, a store receipt dated May 28, 2020, for three bandanas, partially full and empty boxes of push pins, an empty cardboard box for twelve Ball brand mason jars, an empty Kingsford brand lighter fluid bottle, isopropyl alcohol bottles, a plastic jar containing a clear unidentified liquid and T-pins, and a store receipt dated May 27, 2020 for nail polish remover. Officers located both men on a road near the DCWSC, and they were taken into custody.

This case is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Apple Valley Police Department, and the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Dakota County Attorney’s Office.

Planned Parenthood Outraged by 'Violence Against Black Lives,' But Won't Stop Killing Black Babies

Planned Parenthood, the abortion giant that kills an estimated 247 unborn black babies every day, tweeted in solidarity with the protests over the death of George Floyd, condemning “violence against black lives.” While Planned Parenthood rightly acknowledged its own racist history, it made no pledge to stop killing black babies or move against billboards advocating abortion in black neighborhoods.

“We’re devastated, grieving, and outraged by violence against Black lives,” Planned Parenthood tweeted on Monday. “We must continue to demand accountability, justice, and an end to the inequity that continues to define every moment of life for Black America from the racist institutions that uphold white supremacy.”

The abortion giant went on to declare that “[w]hite supremacy and systemic racism permeate every institution — including the foundation of this country. As our nation confronts the COVID-19 pandemic, which is disproportionately ravaging Black communities, we must also address the public health crisis that racism presents.”

The abortion giant concluded its message by making a few commitments, including to “reckon publicly with our own racist history” and to “Step back to create space for Black organizations and leaders organizing in this moment.”

For some reason, I doubt Planned Parenthood’s decision to “create space for Black organizations” includes listening to the Radiance Foundation, founded by Ryan Bomberger, a black survivor of abortion.

Bomberger crunched the numbers and found that Planned Parenthood kills approximately 247 unborn black babies every day. He cited the Guttmacher Institute, which reported 926,200 abortions in 2014, 28 percent of which were among black women. That amounts to 259,336 unborn black babies killed in 2014 (711 per day). The top 15 leading causes of death among black Americans amount to 246,122 lost lives.

Bomberger then took Planned Parenthood’s share of abortions, 34.7 percent in 2016 (321,384 Planned Parenthood abortions divided by 926,200 abortions in the U.S. that year) and calculated that Planned Parenthood itself kills approximately 247 unborn black babies per day.

Planned Parenthood’s commitment to listen to black voices will also likely not extend to Alveda King — Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece — whose pro-life film about Roe v. Wade got blocked on Facebook in 2018. “This big screen movie is the real untold story of how mountains of lies led to an injustice that has deprived millions of people of human dignity and human rights,” King said of the film.

Planned Parenthood’s commitment to listen to black voices will also exclude some Democrats, like Louisiana State Rep. Katrina Jackson.
