I say focus on cleaning up America's problems. Get rid of the political and corporate corruption, paid-off Muslim Brotherhood, Chinese infiltrators and paid-off politicians. To deal with the other bad players the trade tactics will work, and it's ok to take short term economic hit if it has long term benefits.

Even if US were to pull out of Syria, we've got a cowboy like Macron taking orders from [P] to move in to Syria and start carpet bombing. Macron stated last month that he would go in even without US support. Once the French planes start getting taken out by S-400, NATO article 5 is triggered and in goes the USA.
