God bless. Similar here.

People can still be free, safe, and independent - even in this shit world today. Most just aren't willing to give up the benefits and conveniences that they get from the corrupt system. People who [willfully] live in a big city for any reason - whether because of the jobs, shopping, entertainment, 'great schools' (LOL), or social life - are now experiencing the costs of their compromise and their willful ignorance.

Before the first world war what % of the U.S. population was rural? How many Americans owned their own water source and grew their own food? How many could make their own clothes, help build their neighbors' houses, hunt their own meat, defend their own property? Could they decide their own values & priorities, and guide their local social rules with other likeminded citizens of their communities? Did they depend on government agencies, ivy league experts, national politicians, advertising firms, and celebrities on what to do, how to live, and what to believe? When they couldn't make something for themselves that they needed, and bought it at a store, was it made in the USA or made in some enemy nation? Why did all that change, and whose agenda does it serve?
