Then you go for their "feelz". They are desensitized to so much but the younger generations tend to use emotion more than logic (don't mean to generalize but it is what it is because of educational system). So maybe addressing child abuse to where they would have a visceral reaction. Memes are the way to go. You ever watch the SPCA commercial? With the dogs shivering? Just about makes anyone cry. Maybe relate it to how it could happen to a sibling or offspring.
It's pretty sick. I wonder if any of the parent's tried to opt out of that part.
Go for the feels, not necessarily the "gore". Can you watch one of those SPCA commercials without feeling empathy for those dogs?
