Not just shills, but patriots. Patriots should consider how evil they are or can become. Awareness is like fire towards evil. To be aware of how evil one can be is an important step towards humility.
We human beings didn't get to the present day by being nice and God-Fearing. It was a long brutal journey of rape, murder, and pillaging. We all have a semen glazed pile of corpses somewhere in our lineage that we refuse to acknowledge. This story is partially carried in our DNA and we have to keep it in check.
We're only heroes if we face the darkness in the world, as well as, the darkness in ourselves. If we don't, what is the purpose of light? we have a shadow to contend with.
Stay with Christ while confessing sins, try to clear your mind, or whatever, but just remember the darkness only goes away with light, and may surface sometime when we least expect it in ourselves. We have to flood it with light.
This Q work may bring about some things in us, either intrusive thoughts, or traumatic memories, or nightmares, whatnot. We should shine the light of our awareness on these things in ourselves. Have faith. Have divine intention. And say thank you to God that our lives aren't worse, that we are alive, and that since Christ carried the burden of world's sins to the top of the hill, we might carry the smaller burden of our own sins, our own doubt, our own fear, with faith, and a hunger to reduce suffering for those around us.
