Given the way the leftists attacked Nic Pizzolatto when True Detective aired and how Season 2 was railroaded (it was originally supposed to be about the occult), it seems like he disclosed a little too much truth and was punished for it.
There's a theory that they are required by their evil belief system to disclose what they are doing to us. Their movies and symbolism all over the world count as "disclosure" and fulfill the requirement. Since they told us what they are doing and we did nothing to stop them, then, according their belief system, we technically consent to their sick behavior. This removes them from negative karmic consequences.
