As the State of Michigan endures it’s 3rd month of harsh lockdown orders. The State Governor decided to roast the small businesses in the state by attending a protest in violation of her own social distancing orders.

The Governor shut down all non-essential business in the state in March 2020. After numerous extensions and minor changes the shutdown is still in effect today in June. Starting on June 8th bars and restaurants are allowed to open at limited capacity with special safeguards in effect.

With all of these limits on small businesses in effect the Governor appears to be playing both sides. She participated yesterday in a protest in Lansing supporting the racial protests that have causes destruction throughout the state this week – notably to small business that have already been suffering from the shutdown.
