OKC was kind of a fluke. The days of the protests happened to coincide with the 99th anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Riots. There are marches and remembrances every year for that anyway. BLM just made a special push to make things turn bad. There were peaceful protests until nightfall, then everything went to shit. Things have settled back down now. OKC has about 15 percent black and 15 percent Mexican population. The Mexicans could care less about blacks.
