Well to answer your question our bodies are from the dirt but, in the garden it was the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that was ate. So essentially the snake whispered in Adam and Eves ear to eat the fruit and then they commanded their bodies to do so which sparked original sin. But it also initiated a conscious mind at the same time.
I look at it through a few different angles but you can take the super continent that the Earth once was which is Pangea Ultima and how it split up and moved the way a garden grows into the 7 continents we have today. So Earth is the garden.
