i am a dumbass. i didn't try. but it is sauce for what i am telling you. unique writing you wont find on the web.

I wrote this because change is desperately needed in America. The Sierra Club, Armed Militias, Occupations, Protests, Vandalism, Democracy First, 350.org, and Standing Rock, have collectively failed in their casserole tactics. I hate to say failed, because small strides are made everyday by beautiful people. It is fantastic that people are protecting our constitution, environment, and rights for all. I just believe the movements for change are not well focused on the most important issues of today. We are not only fighting for different causes, we are fighting ourselves at the same time.

โ€œIf patriotism were defined, not as blind obedience to government, not as submissive worship to flags and anthems, but rather as love of one's country, one's fellow citizens (all over the world), as loyalty to the principles of justice and democracy, then patriotism would require us to disobey our government, when it violated those principles.โ€ - Howard Zinn

This is created as a series of interconnected discussions which can be read individually or consecutively. It is designed for multiple audiences with very diverse and different beliefs about how we should live life, or how others should live theirs. We must end the divisions among those who are passionate about fixing our countries problems. It is preventing the people from truly operating the mechanics of our local, state, and federal institutions. We are the government, we are the institution, and we are the corporation. These organizations, are wholly made of we the people, the citizens, the cogs of the machine, the cells of our American body.

โ€œThe people are the government, administering it by their agents; they are the government, the sovereign power.โ€ - Andrew Jackson

This is not intended to be a rant against political ideologies I don't personally agree with. It is an honest attempt to look at solutions. I will probably strike a nerve with everyone at some point, as I will be addressing sensitive issues in our culture. I suggest this is a collection of writing that should be approached with an open mind. I will start here with being mildly offensive. I can't recognize every person, group, organization, event, or oppression. I will address privilege in depth and explain why I didn't first acknowledge my privilege.

โ€œGeneration to generation, these pseudo-revolutionaries could never handle not being the cool kids. Something was always wrong. No sense of humor, no sense of self, just anger, vitriol, and misery.โ€

-Caspar Vega

The discussions are meant to be approachable. If you have never heard of some of these things, follow the reference links as you read. I am not going to bore those who have done their research with too many facts and statistics. I am not trying to prove the climate is changing, I will briefly comment on whether or not I believe humans are responsible. I will not go into details about every corporate and political collusion and deep discussions about the revolving door. I am not here to convince anybody of the obvious, but I will offer references.

I don't believe I have all the answers, but I want to paint an alternative picture of the world which is drastically different from the one we live in. I want attempt to give real solutions which are impossible because of our current political environment. We need to have more direct control of our nation. The people must grab the controls of what Buckmeister Fuller famously termed, โ€œSpaceship Earthโ€. This spaceship is piloted by corrupt liars, and personally, I have had enough.

โ€œYou never change things by fighting the existing reality.

To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.โ€

โ€•R. Buckminster Fuller

What do we do about it all?

I believe the first step is to make a list of things most reasonable Americans could agree on. If you can't agree you likely have not been introduced to the subject matter. I am not ignoring all the other issues you may find important, whether its re-instating the constitution or healing the Earth. Rather, these are the issues that we should not be able to disagree on as citizens. If you disagree with any of these statements. You will hate this book.

โ€œCriticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfills the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.โ€ - Winston Churchill

Problem One

The rich are skimming off our labor while offering the American people no real service. I want to pay my boss, he does the paperwork and buys new chairs for the lounge room. I don't want to pay a person to jet set around the world and play golf. We, over time, as a society, have chosen to pay a small group of people billions of dollars from the fruits of our labor. [0] Some billionaires, literally, make over a million dollars per hour. [1] We need to pay people like our teachers, caretakers, bridge builders and disabled veterans substantially more. These labor forces are the backbone of our country, they make America run.

โ€œI predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.โ€

โ€• Thomas Jefferson

Problem Two

The large corporate groups are closely intertwined with our government. [2] Politics should not require large bank accounts for participation. A citizen should not need corporate backers to run a campaign. It requires a certain amount of money to inform citizens about the different platforms and candidates. We need healthy mediums for informing the public, but we don't need to have advertisement wars. The operation of political campaigns should be a function of government. I would prefer we max political contributions from individuals and organizations to zero. If this country can't operate a democratic election without my money, I just don't understand.

โ€œLike sex in Victorian England, the reality of Big Business today is our big dirty secret.โ€

-Ralph Nadar

Problem Three

We lack transparency. We don't really know what is going on behind the closed doors of our government. The real decisions are made in private meetings and dinner parties. I still have trouble believing how the National Security Agencies mass surveillance program barely bothered the American public. [3] I want more access to government and corporate surveillance activities. I am not asking for Coca-Cola's secret recipes or the United States Military plans. I want federal oversight of their operations at all times, not just when there is a problem.

โ€œThere can be no faith in government if our highest offices are excused from scrutiny - they should be setting the example of transparency.โ€ - Edward Snowden

Anonymous ID: fd3f63 June 6, 2020, 1:47 a.m. No.9499322   ๐Ÿ—„๏ธ.is ๐Ÿ”—kun

Problem Four

The media is not controlled by the citizens. It is operated by people who want me to buy things and I don't like commercials. More seriously, I think the news media is not telling me about the issues I want to know about, not answering the questions I really have, and basically, a waste of time. The alternative medias aren't getting out unscathed. The alternative medias across the spectrum are appealing to their base, not reporting both sides of the story in a fair way. I rarely see any disagreements in opinion from the left or right alternative medias. There is no dissent in political opinion among those which subscribe to being of a particular political identity.

โ€œThe press is a gang of cruel faggots. Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfitsโ€”a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.โ€-Hunter S. Thompson

Okay, maybe that was a bit harsh, but I couldn't resist.

Problem Five

We collectively refuse to compromise ideologically. We are not going to agree on morality. We are not going to like the results of every election or democratically made decision. We must decide to put down some of our differences. We need to live and let live, while remembering not to tread on our fellow citizens. I don't think you must love thy neighbor or turn the other cheek. I say we need to have a little more respect for the opinions of people who disagree with our personal beliefs. We need solutions that give everyone an opportunity to live in the America they choose, without infringing on the rights of others to live in the America they choose. It is difficult to define what this actually mean, but that is why we have a democracy.

โ€œIf one does not understand a person, one tends to regard him as a foolโ€

` This country was founded on certain principles that need to be brought back to life. One critical concept that underlies much of my perceptions is the reason we had thirteen colonies and now fifty states. We needed to be connected in our economy and military, but we had different ways of life and associations with different organizations.

โ€œThe powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.โ€

- James Madison

I am suggesting that local governments should operate as much of the taxation as possible. We want to pay the federal government for protection and maintaining proper monetary controls. We want to pay the state governments to regulate basic welfare, whatever that means to each state. We may want to be taxed by local governments or not taxed by local governments and levels of taxation should be based on democracy, as they already are. The primary difference is the federal government and state government would have less financial control over what happens in my city.

โ€œAs soon as any man says of the affairs of the State "What does it matter to me?" the State may be given up for lost.โ€

โ€• Jean-Jacques Rousseau

If I don't like the way I am being taxed, I may consider purchasing a home in a nearby locality that has different levels of taxation. In theory, one local government, in the same state, may tax its citizens something like ten percent less. If I live in a rural community, I may not want a new city park. I might rather keep my money and build something cool for my kids on the ranch, If I live in a city, I may want to pay as much as possible to local governments so I can have more benefits from collectively improving an environment.

"It is strangely absurd to suppose that a million of human beings, collected together, are not under the same moral laws which bind each of them separately." -Thomas Jefferson

The federal government does impose certain regulation on the states. A state cannot declare war, whether foreign or domestic, although they may maintain a well regulated milita. A state cannot have foreign trade deals with foreign nations. Foreign export is a function regulated by the federal government. The federal government also serves to regulate interstate movements of people, goods, ideas, and pollutants.

I first want to touch on the most sensitive issue regarding climate change. I think it used to be, is the temperature changing on our planet? It has shifted a bit though, where the mainstream question regarding climate change is, are we causing climate change? My opinion, we are part of nature, if we are changing it, nature is still changing naturally. Ultimately, we need to move past the question.

We need to prepare for changes in our climate, nothing we can do to change it in the present. We can stop consuming and producing energy in the same way because of other reasons, and still be accounting for the possibility that we are contributing to changes in climate. The primary reason for me is because pollution is impacting my air, food, and water. I am more worried about death from pollutants than a super-hurricane.

โ€œI durst not laugh for fear of opening my lips and receiving the bad air.โ€

-William Shakespeare

Let us define pollutants of all types. There are the obvious pollutants like radiation, smog, pesticides, and waste dumping. We have less obvious or well known types of pollutants like geo-engineering, media, and drugs. Why media? What do you mean drugs? Let me be clear, I watch porn and take LSD when I please. It doesn't mean that I should spread my media or sacred substances any further than my neighbors want.

I will share my drugs and porn with neighbors anytime they ask. I will not spike the punch bowl because I think everyone in America could use a good dose of dimethyltriptamine. I will not smuggle it to the next state to sell the kids. I will not make pirate radios to blast anything from porn to political ideology to my neighbors over the airwaves. This is called pollution or propaganda.

โ€œWhen the light turns green, you go. When the light turns red, you stop. But what do you do when the light turns blue with orange and lavender spots?โ€ -Shel Silverstein

I can only decide what is right for me and myself and I. What is right for me, may not be right for others. If we want to live in a world where we are less regulated and policed, we must learn respect for difference. Part of that respect for difference is not polluting. It should be simple, don't build your massive power plants and cow farms on the edge of my state where I am downwind. Do not dump your waste in the river on your side of the river as I deal with your sanitation issues downstream. The list goes on but this stuff seems simple.

โ€œThe second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these.โ€ -Mark 12:31ย

Energy production is a good place to start healing our pollution issues. We can practically rebuild our energy infrastructure at record rates. We can, in a very short period of time, completely convert to one-hundred percent renewable energy. We need to create our own mega projects with the same vision which China uses for their massive infrastructure projects. I believe, if we made a commitment, we could become completely powered by renewable energy in five years,

โ€œThere is an urgent need to stop subsidizing the fossil fuel industry, dramatically reduce wasted energy, and significantly shift our power supplies from oil, coal, and natural gas to wind, solar, geothermal, and other renewable energy sources.โ€ -Bill McKibben
