Former basketball star Stephen Jackson promised US President Donald Trump that he will not be re-elected this fall as protests against police brutality hit all of the states and receive support from overseas.

“I’m making you a promise, you will not be in the White House come November. You will not be reelected, I’m telling you now,” Jackson, who won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2003, said in a video posted on Instagram.

“We’re coming to get you out of the White House,” he said.

Jackson earlier told the media that he became a close friend of George Floyd years ago as they both grew up in Texas. The protests over his death in police custody have spread across the US and have made their way to countries around the world.

Most of the rallies and marches have been peaceful. However, they have often been followed by rioting and looting in several major US cities. The wave of violence prompted state and local authorities to call in the National Guard and impose curfews.

Protests took place outside the White House as well, where police used tear gas and flash bangs to push the crowd away.

Trump condemned the death of Floyd as a “grave tragedy” and voiced support for the peaceful protesters. At the same time, he harshly criticized the “mobs” committing violence, looting, and vandalism.

Texas Man Threatens Far Left Protesters with Chainsaw – Anti-Police Protesters Call the Cops and Have Him Arrested

A McAllen, Texas man pulled out a chainsaw on the leftist protesters who he felt were threatening his business.

The video posted on Friday went viral with over 26,000 retweets.

Here is video of the Hispanic man before he started up his chainsaw screaming at the young leftists.

So the anti-police protesters had the man arrested… by police.

The Monitor reported:

McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez confirmed Friday afternoon that an individual seen shouting and brandishing a chainsaw at protestors downtown had been detained.

“Thus far it’s been the only incident we’ve had at today’s event,” he said. “We’ve identified that person, we’ve detained that person and are continuing our investigation into the particular incident.”

Rodriguez later added that the man is in custody and the department is assessing what charges will be filed.

Lt. Joel Morales of the McAllen Police Department previously confirmed that an assault investigation is underway related to the man, who was seen in a video brandishing and revving a chainsaw at Black Lives Matter protestors marching downtown Friday.

“Go home,” the man shouted repeatedly in the video, dispersing a group of protestors while pointing animatedly.

He at one point used a racial slur.

“Don’t let those f—— n—— out there control you. Don’t let those f—— trash antifa b——- people,” the man continued to shout.

Lorena Houghton of McAllen was one of the women in the group the man accosted.

“We were just walking, because we were walking over here by ourselves, it was a group of like six or seven, and we were just trying to cross the street and someone stopped in the middle of the crosswalk and started yelling at the girl in front,” she said.

According to Houghton, the man ripped a poster out of that woman’s hands before grabbing a chainsaw.

Retail Outlets Along I-95 Close Saturday As Looters Target The Suburbs

Now that most of NYC's retailers have either already been looted, or have been preemptively boarded up and emptied of merchandise until to ride out the unrest, the same looters who relied on more strategic tactics like working in crews and using drivers and lookouts are reportedly targeting wealthy suburbs like Connecticut and New Jersey.

On the advice of state police, retail outlets along I-95 (a critical vehicular artery connecting Westchester and southern Connecticut and the city) are closing and boarding up their stores on Saturday to try and discourage looters, and the potentially deadly confrontations with police that might ensue.

Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets will be closed this weekend after police detected social media posts calling for looters to converge at the premium outlets in Clinton, Conn.

In response to Facebook threats of looting and rioting, Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets will be closed Saturday and Sunday, according to an official of the retail outlet center.

Entrances and exits at Clinton Crossing, a member of the Simon Property Group, will be blocked with Jersey barriers. Some stores, including Polo Ralph Lauren and Finish Line, were boarded up starting Friday morning.

"Based on the credibility of threats and law enforcement recommendations, the decision has been made to temporarily close," Nathan Ramos, area general manager, wrote in a letter to mall businesses."…Our goal is to provide a safe environment for tenants, customers and employees."

Clinton Crossing, off Exit 63, is home to about 70 outlet stores, including the upscale Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade New York and Michael Kors, as well as Sunglass Hut and Yankee Candle.

The following message was posted to premiumoutlets.com.

"We are deeply saddened and troubled by the murder of Mr. Floyd and mourn his senseless loss," it reads. "We stand united for racial equality and pray for the healing of our communities."

Police aren't solely concerned about the looting: there's also the fear that confrontations between looters and police could lead to violence and deaths on either side.

Clinton police are being especially cautious in light of incidents across the country sparked by the death of George Floyd while in custody of Minneapolis police.

There also have been some incidents around the country of riots and looting, leading management and shop owners to take preventive actions, said Clinton Police Chief Vincent DeMaio.

"We’ve been following it since Tuesday, we’ve been monitoring it all along," said DeMaio.

Meanwhile, a candidate for Baltimore City Council told looters and rioters to "take that mess to Towson" (a suburban area) urging them to light fires and loot stores in the suburbs because Baltimore is still "traumatized" from the Freddie Grey riots.

So if you were planning on hitting the outlets to get your father's day shopping done early…it's not too late to just order something on Amazon.

A commentator sharing the video above can be heard at one point saying "this would explain all the police activity up here in Cockeysville yesterday." Police have been closely monitoring calls for more violence and looting in the suburbs and cities.

It's just the latest bad news for Simon Property Group, the largest mall owner in America, which just filed a lawsuit against GAP for non-payment of rent. The shutdowns will leave retailers who only just reopened in an even more financially precarious position.

Minneapolis Mayor Frey Asks for Government Handout After He Allowed His City to be Looted and Burned by Leftist Mob for Days

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey wept on Friday for nearly a minute at George Floyd’s casket.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) lashed out at President Trump in an overnight press conference last week while his city was burning in the split-screen.

Frey later admitted to reporters that it was his decision for police officers to abandon the 3rd Precinct police station that was taken over by protesters who looted and torched.

Frey failed to call in the National Guard for several days as hundreds of Minneapolis businesses and government offices were destroyed by violent leftists.

Now Mayor Frey wants the federal government to bailout his city after the rioting he allowed for several days.

Genuine protest, or latest woke trend? Do people around the world 'taking a knee' care about BLM, or is it just virtue-signaling?

Citizens are protesting the death of George Floyd by marching and kneeling far outside the borders of the United States, with Saturday demonstrations occurring everywhere from the UK to Australia.

The latest kneeling trend, which some critics have called into question, occurred all over the world in major cities on Saturday.

In Turin, Italy, hundreds could be seen not only kneeling, sitting en masse to protest.

Over in the Italian city of Bari, protesters reportedly knelt for a full eight minutes, with some even singing the song ‘One Love’ by Bob Marley.

Hundreds knelt together in England as well.

Citizens demonstrated outside the US Embassy in Paris, France too, at one point taking to kneeling and raising their fists. Speakers at the protest not only mentioned Floyd, but also Adam Traore, an African American man who died in the custody of the French police in 2016, sparking protests against police brutality.

The police had earlier issued a decree banning the protest in the city, noting that gatherings of more than 10 people in public is still prohibited due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

An even bigger crowd, reportedly in the tens of thousands, also took to the streets of Sydney and Brisbane, Australia to protest.

Kneeling has moved beyond just protesters in some nations, with police officers and even politicians joining in on the trend. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau knelt on Friday in Ottawa at a demonstration, though he was quickly mocked by Twitter users who brought up an infamous blackface photo from his past.

Some have criticized the trend of kneeling, suggesting government officials and white people taking part in it is empty activism and a result of herd mentality growing around the gesture.

“I need cops and politicians and white people more broadly to stop kneeling. We don’t need you to kneel. We need you to stand up for real, radical, sustained change,” liberal writer Roxane Gay tweeted on Friday.

Black Trump supporter and pundit David J. Harris Jr. agreed, posting this week that seeing white people kneel over injustices to black communities is “disgusting.”

The Weather Underground was a group of young violent communists, including Bill Ayers, who were against the war in Vietnam and were active in bombing buildings across the country in their attempts to end the war and create societal change. Ayers later would be associated with Barack Obama in Chicago, a claim that Obama denied. Others believe Ayers was very close to Obama.

US corporate media act as ‘mouthpieces of intelligence services’ on foreign policy & national security – ex-WSJ journalist to RT

American private media often “launder” misinformation fed by the secret services, while politicians pressure Facebook to act as its proxy against foreign outlets, author and former Wall Street Journal reporter Joe Lauria told RT.

“Private corporate media, on their foreign policy and national security reporting, are virtually mouthpieces of the intelligence services,” Lauria told RT.

They launder misinformation and disinformation from the intelligence services in the US, which gains credibility if you read it in the New York Times and not directly from the CIA. They have a state function as well even if they’re corporate-owned. So this is clearly an anti-Russian, anti-Chinese, anti-Iranian thing.

Facebook earlier reported that it is labeling content posted by “state-controlled” media in order to battle “foreign influence” in the US 2020 presidential election. Pages of Russian media outlets, including RT and Sputnik, as well as Chinese media, have already been marked with such labels.

Lauria noted that social media giants like Facebook and Twitter enact such measures because they are being “heavily pressured” by US Congress as the politicians want private companies to de-facto serve “as proxies of the US government to do the censoring for them.”

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was previously summoned to congressional hearings where he was grilled for not doing enough to combat Russian ‘propaganda’ and urged to take decisive steps to curb foreign ‘meddling’ in US politics.
