Fox News Mocked As 'Attack and Dethrone God' Warning Goes Viral on Twitter

As protests and demonstrations engulf the United States in opposition to police violence, some media platforms have suggested that those involved are part of an anti-capitalist movement infiltrated by the radical left.

The phrase “Attack and Dethrone God” went viral on Twitter Friday night after Fox News included the phrase in a graphic.

A freeze-frame shown on The Ingraham Angle was mocked across social media after the host, Laura Ingraham, in an interview with author Terrie Turchie, equated the ongoing unrest in the United States with the Weather Underground - a radical left-wing terrorist organisation active in the 1960s.

During the interview, Ingraham read a list on the graphic that claimed the agenda bullet point of “Attack and Dethrone God” was part of the group's agenda, although the phrase is absent in the manifesto Turchie cited.

Netizens quickly took notice of the list, mocking Ingraham's hyperbolic and over the top comparison.

The controversy follows an announcement this week by US President Donald Trump in which he stated that his administration would designate Antifa - a lose collection of opponents to fascism - as a "terrorist organisation".

With no central organization and no leaders, 'Antifa' has been alleged to be involved in demonstrations across the country in opposition to police brutality following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis, Minnesota, police officers.

NYC protest organizer threatens to take violence to Diamond District: 'Gasoline … is awfully cheap'

A man identifying himself as "Ace Burns" delivered an ominous threat to New Yorkers Saturday during a live interview on Fox News, warning that protesters could set fire to Manhattan's storied Diamond District if New York leaders don't meet their demands.

"Today, I'm giving a demonstration from Barclay's Center at 6 p.m. to City Hall, and that's the first stop – and we're hoping [Mayor] De Blasio and [Gov.] Cuomo come out and talk to us and give the youth some direction," he told Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich.

"But if they don't, then [the] next stop is the Diamond District," he said, referring to a block on Manhattan's 47th Street known for jewelry shops. "And gasoline, thanks to Trump, is awfully cheap. So we're giving them a chance right now to do the right thing."

During his interview, he also showed an "#FTP" hashtag apparently written in marker on his arm. "You know, I'm a leader of this FTP movement. It means a lot of things. It can mean free the people, it can mean for the people, it could also mean fire to property – and that's very possible."

When asked when the protests would end, the man said that was the wrong question. "The question should be what policies are we going to enact to make people feel safe?"

After his comments aired, Fox News' Eric Shawn condemned the apparent threat. "That person was basically suggesting that they plan to go to the diamond district which is run basically by Orthodox Jews here in New York City certainly hope that is not the case and we do not endorse in fact, we condemn that type of language here on the Fox News channel," Shawn said.

The NYPD, mayor's office, and governor's offices did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

A Twitter account Burns’ name showed him in a video purportedly outside of Barclay’s Center, where he says he’s starting a “revolution.”

Mark Levin has dramatic suggestion for 'systemic racism' — and politicians won't like it

'Can't trust those cops with our precious representatives, either…'

Conservative commentator Mark Levin offered up a suggestion in response to claims that America experiences from "systematic racism in law enforcement."

"Due to systemic racism in law enforcement, and the disbanding of the police in our cities, I suggest we pull all security protection from Biden, Obama, Bush, Pelosi & Schumer. For their own sakes. I also suggest we pull the Capitol Police from Congress," Levin suggested late Friday.

"Can't trust those cops with our precious representatives, either. While we're at it, let's yank protection from the Supreme Court. And how about we pull security at sports stadiums, pro-athlete locker rooms, Beverley Hills and Brentwood," he added.
