I love the way last bread ended.
Mission Impossible 1 spoilers: [spoiler]Spookmaster Phelps fakes his death and sets spook Ethan up to take the fall. Agency leader meets with Ethan, and Ethan realizes he's been set up. He flees. Ethan is now public enemy #1, a traitor. Ethan manages to track down Phelps, and, wearing his gadget cameraglasses, says to Phelps, "I'm not the only one whose seen you alive."
Phelps stands there in horror, as the agency leader from earlier looks at his video screen, seeing Phelps alive. At which point the agency leader says, "Hello, Mr. Phelps." Ethan is instantly and totally vindicated.[/spoiler]

Not to mention that the public has already been primed with the whole "hate crime first, revealed hoax later" with Smollett. Easier for the public to swallow that pill, now.
