This demonstrates to me why trust is so difficult, especially in such a complex technological world. We are constantly being asked to rely on some expert, who we don't know personally, who we cannot challenge, and who may be aligned completely against me. Because none of us ever has enough knowledge or expertise to really form reliable conclusions about many things. Even when I've felt I'm something of an "expert" on some area, I find I can be wrong. It's really hard enough to come to a really firm conclusion about even one or two things.

So I don't know if that "twitter card" is updated "dynamically" or not. How could I know that? And so some programmer comes around to tell me that yes it can be changed or no it can't be changed. How on earth can I verify either claim? That link to the "card validator" doesn't show me anything. Really, I'm just gonna wait and see on this one. But it's making me ask a lot of questions that have nothing to do with George Floyd.
