I hear stories ( to this day) from my grandmother how she lost a brother to the Nazis. I grew up in it all. I saw with my own eyes the buildings that we're distroyed and not yet rebuilt ( that was in the 70s). When I went to school in Poland, learning about WWII came with field trips and took a whole school year. Not just the "stories" you hear in American history class. Where WWll lessons we're a paragraph long before USA joined the war. I'm sorry, but, American history about WWll is taught through the lense of American vicory.
