Has anyone dug on the Trump Tower fire. The lone victim was Todd Brassner. He was a fine arts dealer and he also filed for bankruptcy in 2016. Supposedly his apartment didn’t have fire sprinklers (may not have been code when the building was built). NY code currently doesn’t require fire sprinklers. Modern day Building materials General are fire resistant and built to contain within one floor.

Allegedly another resident on the same floor owned a condominium and was in bankruptcy proceedings. This could indicate possible foul play (arson). Trump Tower has not had a major fire so it does make this fire a bit nefarious with the art dealer and two bankruptcies on the same floor. Yes there was the small electrical fire on the roof at the beginning of the year but no significant damage.
