This seems more likely a test of Character. If people want to take advantage of a situation, they will. If their Character finds it offensive to bow down and get Greedy, they will Speak out against it. Call it out as BS.
Tell people they will not be used as Pawns for their sick games. However, sadly, many look for opportunities to get a free ride when an excuse is handed to them on a gold platter.
