Thoughts on Repentance

There are two definitions of repentance: 1 to confess the nature of the wrongdoing to another. 2 to change direction.

I have found both to be extremely beneficial.

The Catholic nation seeks repentance through a priest, which can be used against them later…blackmail. A better option is to travel to a town, foreign to you, and confess the nature of your wrongdoings to strangers at a AA or NA type meeting. Do not give specifics, just outline the nature of the wrongdoings. For example, I have chased lustful ways in porn and treating the opposite sex, or same, as objects of lust. You will find your are not alone and they will forgive you.

The second, to change direction. Once you have dropped the burden of shame, regret and guilt off to another, it is on you to change your direction from the wrongdoings. This takes diligence and continual attention. Mine came with set backs, but with love applied to self, I continued to make progress.

Why do you think ((they)) hit you with porn and scripture?

Most of what we seek is internal to us. If we are to be free of false gods, government and other forms of slavery, we must self govern ourselves.

Now, we have a foundation of Love, truth and pain. All are excellent teachers if we are willing to learn. This applies to the uglies as well, If they are willing.

The Spirit of Truth; you all have it inside you. It is your internal drive to seek this out, to share freely with ALL and will benefit humanity soon. God bless you all. Now, what do we do with ALL of this truth?
