Former Patriots WR Reche Caldwell shot, killed in Florida, according to reports

A former New England Patriots player is dead after he was shot at his Florida home, according to multiple reports.

According to the TMZ Sports report, the 41-year-old was ambushed during a robbery attempt and was shot in the leg and chest. His mother said he died in the ambulance while en route to the hospital.
