RNC and Trump Campaign Plan to Resume In-Person Campaigning Next Week

For the last few months, the Trump campaign and RNC had stopped in-person campaigning because of coronavirus concerns, but next week will restart. ABC reported that even so, campaigners will still adhere to distancing guidelines and wear masks when meeting with voters and knocking on doors.
RNC National Press Secretary Mandi Merritt told ABC News that, “[S]tarting next week, Trump Victory field teams will resume in person volunteer activities and campaigning where states allow. Just as Trump Victory was able to transition to virtual campaigning in less than 24 hours, our teams across the country will seamlessly adapt again just as efficiently.”
This is exactly the correct move in showing the country that even though the Wuhan virus upended life as we knew it for the last few months, the country will return to normal.
A great sign of leadership, indeed.
