I'm an Austin native, this place is little more than an LA suburb now. Like Burbank or some shit, very little exists nowadays that's 'original Austin' as they tore it all down to make condos. And now they have the gall to tell us that Austin has an "identity crisis." Well no fucking shit fuckfaces, you removed the identity and since you idiots have no identity other than consumer purchasing or vanity social issues, there's nothing here other than a giant shopping mall. The cognitive dissonance of the eternal califag never ceases to amaze me.
But there's a huge silent majority in Texas that's sick of seeing out home turned into a factory for Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos types, and they will be voting straight red in November. Bet money on it.

I've mostly given up video games as I'm an adult and have better things to do, but I still play some Call of Duty on the weekends as it's the only real way to stay in contact with a few old good friends. Shit's fucking crazy and every corporation is going along with it without question.
On a positive note, my friends who rarely pay attention to politics aren't taking it very seriously and view BLM as the joke it is.
Texas is a strange place, kind of a microcosm or America itself, almost cartoonishly over-the-top so. This moment in history seems like the perfect time for us Texans to put up or shut up, I hope we end up living up to it.
