Some companies (I know one of the ones in the list) have a policy of matching employee contributions to "charitable" causes. The employee contributes, then submits a receipt, and their employer matches some percent – if the employer deems it a bona fide charity or matching some criteria.

 

It's possible that in some cases it was not a management decision to fund this crap, but simply an "accident" due to a human resources policy.

Nevertheless I will try to stay away from all those companies. They should be more careful how their money is used.
