Several anons have mentioned gold/symbolism today. I find it odd that I've never seen a dig on Pat McGrath.

Hollywood elite makeup artist, does tons of makeup for high end designers, and is HEAVY on symbolism, especially in color names for products. Gold all over everything, eye symbols, and very heavy on roses this year (reminds me of Comey's tweet, etc.). She's best known for her series of Mothership palettes, and the artwork on the boxes is very strange (think fly on one's face).

In some past fashion shows, Abramovic supplied the performance artists for a runway show and McGrath's team was commissioned to do the makeup. She doesn't do public appearances much, but she's the gilder for many stars.
